Renae’s experience as a digital producer and project manager for medium to large-scale web projects has provided first-hand insight into shifting trends over the last decade. More recently, the integration of AI and IoT technology has ushered in an era of hyper-personalisation, where digital experiences are increasingly tailored to individual preferences.
These advancements are reshaping how users engage with digital environments. By merging virtual worlds with real-world data through AI-driven personalisation and decentralised technology, the creator economy is evolving in exciting new directions.
As the founder of Screen Innovate, Renae is focused on experimenting with emerging technologies to create novel new ideas in this space. This work is closely tied to her master’s thesis on Entertainment 3.0, which explored game mechanics and the concept of the synthetic self in virtual spaces.
Today, with AI-driven personalisation, users can craft identities that blend both the physical and digital worlds. Renae continues to research the female identity within this new paradigm, with a focus on combating bias—essential for creating immersive, data-driven experiences that adapt to user behaviour in meaningful and inclusive ways.

Shifting the narrative
I’m constantly inspired by the space where stories bubble into being and take shape through traditional and emerging technology. Story is a great unifier. Weaving technology and commercial appeal into that equation amplifies its ability to touch the lives of many.
My speciality is coming up with novel ways to ethically integrate creative technology, story and commercial appeal. I like to contribute as a founder, consultant, analyst or storyteller.
